The chrysanthemum is the flower of the Land of the Rising Sun – Japan is considered its second homeland. Here in Japan, many things are connected to this magical and beautiful flower. If you look at the national emblem, you will see a chrysanthemum there as well – and this is no coincidence, because it is thanks to the chrysanthemum that this wonderful country came into being. It was from the island of the rising sun that the subjects of the Chinese emperor chose not to return. They established their own state on the island and named it Japan.
